Už si pomaly zvykáme na to, že najviac informácií sa dozvedáme z oficiálneho HoN fóra. Dnes tomu nebude inak. Užívateľ Soulmancer napísal vývojárom mail, v ktorom sa ich pýtal na informácie ohľadne editora máp a SDK (developers kit).

When I explained to him that I was interested in creating a multiplayer PvE campaign for 8 players styled somewhat like Diablo or Zelda, utilizing multiple connected maps. he did say it would probably be quite possible to do this even before the SDK is released... So it looks like the editor will be very powerful
V krátkosti - Editor máp by mal fungovať podobne ako napr. editor máp pre warcraft III, tzn. že si môžete upravovať a vytvárať nové mapy pre HoN, bude veľmi intuitívny a ľahko ovládateľný, neposkytuje však úplnu voľnosť, naopak SDK kit je v podstate celé jadro, na ktorom je HoN vytvorené, na prácu s ním bude nutná znalosť C++ jazyka. Bude poskytovať úplnu voľnosť, takže by sa na ňom teoreticky dali vytvárať aj hry na žáner FPS a podobne. Keď sa autor mailu spýtal či by bola možnosť na SDK kite vytvoriť "klon" Diabla II, v ktorom by hralo kooperatívnu kampaň až okolo 8 ľudí, vývojári mu na to povedali, že by sa to dalo možno aj pred vydaním SDK kitu.
